Job Title: Solar Design Engineer Head Office: Navjivan Vihar, New Delhi Office Location: Panipat Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Engineering / Design About the Role: We are looking for a talented Solar Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and technical assessment of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. From the initial concept to the final construction documents, you will play a key role in ensuring systems are high-performing, code-compliant, and cost-effective. Responsibilities: Design residential, commercial, and/or utility-scale solar PV systems. Use design tools such as AutoCAD, Aurora Solar, Helioscope, SketchUp, and PVsyst. Create and review single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and electrical schematics. Conduct system sizing, shading analysis, and production estimates. Coordinate with permitting, sales, procurement, and installation teams. Ensure designs meet all required local codes, AHJ requirements, and utility specifications. Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Stay up to date with the latest solar technologies and industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 2-3 years of experience in solar PV system design. Strong understanding of PV system components, interconnection types, and electrical concepts. Proficiency with AutoCAD and at least one PV design software (Aurora, PVsyst, Helioscope, etc.). Strong communication and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
