About The Role As the Lead - Communications, you will shape and amplify Asude’s voice to the world. Your storytelling will bring alive the impact of our Labs, Systems, Play, and Culture , through engaging, human-centered narratives. From thought leadership to digital storytelling, your work will reflect the spirit of purpose, play, and cultural rootedness that defines Asude. About The Labs Systems Lab: Designs scalable learning interventions for public and private systems, including schools, skilling institutions, and industries. It focuses on integrating education with industry. Play Lab: Uses the power of games, simulations, and playful pedagogy to create engaging and reflective learning tools. Culture Lab: Anchors learning in India's rich cultural heritage by designing programs with museums, libraries, and public spaces. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a compelling communications and branding strategy that reflects Asude’s evolution into a Learning Design Lab and aligns with its purpose-driven mission. Craft powerful narratives that convey learning outcomes, social impact, and cultural relevance with emotional depth and clarity—engaging funders, government bodies, private institutions, and the wider public. Lead content creation and storytelling across digital platforms, newsletters, campaigns, and internal publications to strengthen visibility and community engagement. Collaborate with designers, and creative professionals to produce high-quality multimedia content, videos, visuals, and digital assets, that bring Asude’s work to life. Strengthen internal communication channels to enhance team alignment, transparency, and collaboration across Labs and verticals. Drive external communications and business development, delivering presentations and pitches to diverse audiences including CSR partners, industries, and government stakeholders. Design persuasive partner proposals, fundraising decks, and institutional communication materials, ensuring consistent messaging and narrative coherence. Build and curate a repository of field stories, learner journeys, and insights from across our Labs to serve as a living archive of our work and inspiration. Manage media relations, including outreach to digital and print outlets, drafting press releases, and positioning Asude in relevant media conversations. Requirements Preferred Background 5+ years in communications, branding, media, or social impact storytelling. Master’s degree in any field. Experience working with learning, design, social impact or cultural organizations is ideal. Key Qualities Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences. Visual communication tools and social media analytics. Our work spans public schools, museums, digital platforms, and play-based solutions, organized through our three labs: Systems Lab, Play Lab, and Culture Lab. Role Overview We are looking for team members to lead District Operations with a bold, entrepreneurial mindset to scale Asude’s flagship programs, including school-to-career interventions in rural and urban districts. The role demands a self-starter who can manage the full operations lifecycle, from planning to execution, while building strong partnerships, innovating in real time, and enabling teams to deliver their best. Key Responsibilities Program Management & Execution Lead district-wide rollout of Asude’s interventions by coordinating with design teams, government stakeholders, and on-ground field teams. Build and manage agile execution roadmaps that are context-aware and outcomes-driven. Take ownership of timelines, deliverables, and rapid troubleshooting across multiple locations. Entrepreneurial Leadership Treat your district like a startup zone, taking full ownership of strategy and execution. Identify local opportunities, resource gaps, and innovations to strengthen Asude’s impact. Operate with autonomy, adapting to changing needs while creating systems that scale. Industry Connect Initiative Build trusted relationships with district officials, schools, and partner organizations. to implement Asude’s industry connect platform in the district. Build partnerships with industries aligned to the One District One Product (ODOP) strategy. Generate and mobilize mentors to facilitate career awareness sessions in schools. Manage logistics and feedback loops to ensure safe, high-quality industry visits for students. Play Lab Deployment Oversee implementation of Career City, Asude’s career education board game, across schools and workshops. Train teachers for effective facilitation and ensure program fidelity. Collect stories, feedback, and data to improve future iterations. Monitoring, Learning & Reporting Track implementation progress, logistics, and impact metrics in collaboration with the Research and Design teams. Document field innovations, operational insights, and system gaps to drive continuous improvement. Requirements 2+ years of experience in district-level educational operations. Proven track record in program execution within government, nonprofit, or entrepreneurial settings. Owns a two-wheeler and is willing to travel frequently to remote schools. Strong project management, logistics, and stakeholder engagement skills. Fluency in Marathi and English.
