Profile Summary

The role is defined to build a strong interaction with the public and students interested in astronomy, so being able to communicate what space science and astronomy do in public.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct professional evening and nighttime observations at SPACE India facilities.
  • Provide hands-on training for telescopes and related instruments, ensuring program delivery meets high-quality standards.
  • Plan and execute client-facing astronomy sessions, workshops, and events in strict adherence to agenda and timeline.
  • Freeze liveliness of programs, maintain schedules, and follow-through on detailed session planning.
  • Install and manage outreach events under the “SPACE India” banner (e.g., fairs, quizzes, public watch parties).
  • Volunteer and support mass awareness initiatives to promote astronomy and space science.
  • Represent the organization via media interviews, talk shows, and public lectures, following company media policy.
  • Research and write articles, blog posts, and magazines to amplify public interest in astronomy and space science education.
  • Implement student-centered teaching methods using diverse styles—hands-on activities, active learning, language practice—to engage learners at all levels.
  • Promote astronomy education through social media, community events, and institutional partnerships.
  • Build and nurture relationships within the astronomy community to elevate SPACE India’s visibility and impact

Knowledge

Education- Bsc/Msc in Physics or Astronomy related course

Experience- Fresher or 02 Years (Teaching)
