Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram for a Technical Services Manager (Automotive &/Industrial Lubricant). In this role, the individual will oversee technical services and provide exceptional support to clients, resolving technical queries and issues related to automotive lubricants.  Responsibilities include identifying customer service issues, managing troubleshooting processes, delivering technical training sessions, and collaborating with teams to ensure efficient resolution of product-related challenges.  Understand, explain and initiate new development projects and assess project feasibility based on business case of project. Prepare technology landscape reports.  Identify customer’s need and provide suitable solutions to meet their requirements.  Plan, define, initiate technical aspects of projects & execution of research projects/NPDs to achieve the goals & objectives of projects  Create & develop a project plan defining all finer aspects and lay out the thorough experimentation and evaluation plan to develop the formulations to assess performance at lab scale.  After development, extend all technical assistance to the division to establish the manufacturing process and resolve customer’s pain points.  Actively participate in product launches, commercialization of products and provide support to get OEM approvals.  Project reviews with Global project teams & Business unit managers on biweekly/monthly/bi monthly basis  Supervise the team members to complete tasks and activities. Demonstration of technology/Product and provide training to the associated team members.  Lab management, product management & manpower management  Mentoring, guiding & training to team members on instruments & other technical aspects  Publication of papers and generates novel solutions that result in patents and/or trade secrets  Prepare technical reports, technical literature, Case studies, Bench marking studies of products for customers and marketing team.  Resolve customer’s complaints by meeting, technical discussion, presentations, training & demonstration.  Works with external partners & third-party labs for innovative solutions and comparative studies. Participate in round robin testing with external labs. Qualifications Expertise in Technical Services and Technical Support for automotive & Industrial lubricants. Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proven ability in Customer Service with excellent communication skills Experience in conducting Training and knowledge-sharing sessions Ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment Proficiency in automotive lubricant technologies or related fields is an advantage Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
