Job Summary
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Assistant Teachers to support our Lead Teachers in delivering exceptional early childhood education and care. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing environment, assisting in classroom activities, and ensuring the safety, hygiene, and well-being of the children in your care.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Support the Lead Teacher in implementing weekly lesson plans and classroom activities.
· Assist in maintaining a caring, safe, and supportive learning environment for children.
· Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times.
· Help prepare materials and resources needed for daily lessons and activities.
· Observe and support children's learning and development and report observations to the Lead Teacher.
· Facilitate learning by guiding children through structured and free play activities.
· Provide comfort and emotional support to children, especially new joiners, to help them settle into the environment.
· Follow and promote proper health and hygiene routines with the children (e.g., hand washing, sanitization).
· Assist with diaper changes, feeding, dress changes, and helping children during nap time.
· Ensure classroom cleanliness and organization throughout the day.
· Communicate positively with children, staff, and parents when required.
· Support the Lead Teacher during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and classroom events.
· Help update child care routines and observations on the parent app in collaboration with the Lead Teacher.
· Maintain records such as diaper changes, food and water intake, sleep logs, and dress changes as needed.
· Assist in maintaining the allergy chart and ensuring it is up to date monthly.
· Support in managing administrative classroom tasks like attendance and sleep checklists under guidance.
Qualifications and Skills
· Minimum qualification: 10+2; a diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education is an advantage.
· Freshers passionate about working with children are welcome to apply.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· A caring, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
· Willingness to learn and take direction from the Lead Teacher.
· Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
