Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager Social Media in the Brand Comms department of adidas in Gurgaon, India, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the adidas message to consumers through owned social media platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing the digital publishing strategy, creating engaging content, developing a social media strategy, driving visibility for the adidas runners community, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve business goals through social media campaigns. Key Responsibilities: - Implement the digital publishing strategy across owned and paid social media in alignment with global brand and category calendars. - Support planning and content creation to deliver on the global brand and category calendars. - Develop a social media strategy for the performance and originals category. - Drive visibility for the adidas runners community through an always-on publishing plan. - Create and implement the social media calendar for the brand on a monthly basis. - Collaborate with internal teams such as business units, PR, digital, and media teams for end-to-end campaign planning and execution across social media. - Support the Newsroom Head Office team in maximizing the publishing mix for all campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels. - Ensure all campaigns and content are fully tagged and tracked for measurement and advanced analytics efforts. - Execute all campaigns across social media channels in a timely manner. - Identify platform trends and consumer behavior to enhance digital publishing output and inform the wider team. Qualifications Required: - Significant knowledge of the full marketing mix with expertise in social media management. - Good understanding of the creative thinking and development process. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - High understanding of owned channel and paid social landscape. - Advanced experience with major social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Snapchat, etc. - Strong understanding of social media trends across sport and lifestyle. - Ability to work across multiple functions with exemplary cross-functional collaboration, resourcefulness, and influencing skills. - Independent and efficient in managing multiple tasks. - Advanced presentation and organizational skills. - Understanding of the editorial process. - Copywriting skills.
