Asst. Manager-SAP BASIS

You are an experienced SAP BASIS professional responsible for managing and optimizing SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA environments on a Private Cloud infrastructure. Your role involves system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, and ensuring high availability of SAP applications. You must have expertise in SAP BASIS administration and supported cloud technologies. As the SAP BASIS Administrator, your key responsibilities include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP ECC 6.0 and related SAP landscapes in a Private Cloud environment. - Performing system upgrades, migrations, and patching activities. - Managing system refreshes, client copies, and database administration. - Performing transport management and landscape synchronization across DEV, QA, and PROD environments. Additionally, you will be involved in Cloud & Infrastructure Management by: - Managing SAP on Private Cloud platforms in DC environment and DR setup. - Monitoring and optimizing cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance. - Maintaining backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions for SAP workloads. - Collaborating with cloud service providers to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues. You will also focus on Performance Tuning & Security by: - Conducting system health checks, tuning, and optimization for SAP applications and databases. - Monitoring SAP system logs, work processes, and background jobs to ensure system stability. - Implementing and enforcing SAP security best practices, including user management, role assignments, and authorization controls. - Performing vulnerability assessments and compliance checks to align with ITGC Audit and other industry regulations.
