| Essential Requirements |
| Graduate degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute and Master's degree in Structural engineering. |
| Experience: Proven 5-8 year experience in design of Bridges and other highway related structures, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm. |
| Proficient in structural analysis software (such as SAP2000, MIDAS, or STAAD Pro) and CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit or SOFiSTiK). |
| Code Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant bridge design codes and standards, such as AASHTO, Eurocodes, or local bridge design guidelines. |
| Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders. |
| Experience in leading a team of engineers and CAD technicians. |
| Experience of technical leadership for major highway projects at feasibility and detailed design stages. |
| Ability to fully understand, explain, present and solve complex technical problems for technical and non-technical audiences. |
| Responsibilities |
| Contribute to a team of engineers and CAD technicians working on design and assessment of bridges as per Indian codes of practice. |
| Check design and assessment calculations and reviewing detailed drawings. |
| Deliver project in accordance with to quality, timescales and budget. |
| Supervise, guide and mentor the team. |
| Provide technical leadership and develop capabilities of the team in design and assessment of bridges. |
| Play a major role in the development of technical skills of the team. |
| Raise the profile of the organisation by publishing technical papers and making technical presentations at seminars and conferences. |
| Ensure technical competencies of self and team are kept up to date. |
