Associate Vice President, Financial Instruments and Technology

Role Overview: The Financial Instruments and Technology Group (FIT) in Kroll is seeking engineers with deep knowledge of financial analysis to join their growing technology team. The team focuses on developing innovative applications to meet clients" needs, analyze investments, and provide new insights into holdings. As an engineer in FIT, you will collaborate with developers, quantitative analysts, and modelers to build scalable valuation models and frameworks for various asset classes. You will also design and deploy new financial applications and integrate new modeling techniques into existing analytics libraries. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a team to develop scalable, high-performance valuation models and frameworks - Design and build new financial applications from conception to deployment - Integrate new modeling techniques into existing analytics libraries Qualifications Required: - BS or MS in math, hard science, quantitative finance, computer science, or engineering - 6+ years of professional programming experience, with 3-4+ years in Python - Experience working with large datasets using SQL - Knowledge of quantitative models in fixed income is a plus - Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, or VBA is beneficial - Prior experience with statistical modeling tools like Python & Pandas or R - Familiarity with different asset classes, including private credit, derivatives, and structured products Additional Company Details: Kroll is a global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions with a nearly century-long legacy.
