Associate Team Lead / Lead Software Engineer - Python React/Typescript

Role Overview: As an Associate Team Lead / Lead Software Engineer at NEC Software Solutions, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers working on innovative applications utilizing AI to enhance efficiency in the Public Safety sector. The application is utilized by police forces in England and Wales to streamline document redaction processes. You will collaborate closely with the product owner and Solution Architect to enhance the application's functionality. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of developers and provide hands-on expertise in Python and React technologies - Collaborate with the product owner and Solution Architect to develop new features for the AI-enabled product - Write reusable, testable Python code and work with document and image processing libraries - Design and develop clean user interfaces using TypeScript and React - Implement backend programming for web applications, including CRUD operations - Engage with users to gather requirements and deliver software features from concept to production - Participate in technical discussions, identify training opportunities, and develop new skills - Work on the full software development lifecycle to implement secure and scalable solutions Qualifications Required: - Industry/Technology background in IT, ideally with public sector/emergency services experience - Proficiency in Python (Primary) and React - Experience in team handling and working with AI-enabled products - Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, API Gateway, and backend operations - Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle - Ability to hold UK NPPV-3 and SC clearances - Strong problem-solving skills, inquisitiveness, autonomy, motivation, integrity, and big-picture awareness Additional Company Details: NEC Software Solutions (India) Private Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end IT services across various sectors, with a focus on delivering market-ready software products.
