Associate Taxation

Role Overview: You will be joining Clean Harbors Inc. as a Tax Analyst, playing a crucial role in the tax department. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the renewal of some United States business licenses, handling state resale and exemption certificates for the customer base, and supporting the US Tax Audit Manager. Additionally, you may be involved in preparing some United States sales tax returns. Key Responsibilities: - Renew local business licenses. - Assist in managing sales tax exemption and resale certificates in One Source and internal billing system. - Support US sales and use tax audits by analyzing customer and vendor invoices in Peoplesoft. - Aid in managing tax audits to minimize potential exposure. - Prepare US State and Local Sales Tax Returns using Onesource software systems. - Assist with administrative tasks within the department as required. - Support tax staff with acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. - Complete sales tax functions and compliance work. - Provide audit support and work on the Fixed asset project. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Peoplesoft is preferred.
