Associate Software Engineer (Data Engineer)

As an Associate Software Engineer (Data Engineer) at Lexington Partners, your role is crucial in the ongoing efforts to centralize structured and unstructured data for the firm. You will be part of a growing Data and AI team, contributing directly to the firm's data strategy. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and optimizing data pipelines and data management frameworks to meet business requirements. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable data and AI-driven solutions. - Taking ownership of projects from ideation to production in a startup-like culture within an enterprise environment. - Demonstrating expertise in data modeling, data management, and data governance. - Implementing master data management and ensuring data quality. - Utilizing your proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python. - Applying sound knowledge of Snowflake and data warehousing techniques. - Developing foundational knowledge of API development and integration. - Having knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx is considered good-to-have. Qualifications and experience that would make you successful in this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer applications; or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree with 3 years of industry experience. - Strong expertise in data modeling and data management concepts. - Experience in implementing master data management is preferred. - Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python. - Foundational Knowledge of API development and integration. - Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx is good-to-have. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset.
