Associate Security Consultant

Perform scanning of unstructured data and/or MS SharePoint for unprotected sensitive elements. We will need the contractors to be available in base location (Hyderabad or Bangalore) and work as per the CSO in office requirements.

JD Summary of Work: This role will drive the scanning of unstructured data and/or MS SharePoint for unprotected sensitive elements.

The role holder is also responsible for analyzing scanning outcomes and developing reports so the data owners can remediate their data (through encryption, masking, or data deletion) to reduce risk to the organization.

Required/Desired Skills:

8 plus years of overall experience in IT Experience 5 plus years of sensitive data scanning utilizing 3rd party provided software products (preferably Spirion), Cybersecurity acumen, risk identification and management, data protection security policy awareness, logical reasoning and troubleshooting, application and date security and protection.

Data analytics, data visualization, critical thinking, data management, data cleansing, and report generation.

Process Flow Definition, business problem definition, analytical thinking, flowchart development, end to end process visualization. General database and data storage knowledge, database connectivity testing.

General knowledge of how to use scripting languages such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, and MS excel is a plus.
