Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo 10.0 for various components such as engine parts, sheet metal components, plumbing systems, and genset assemblies. You will need to develop accurate designs in alignment with project specifications and industry standards. Additionally, you will be preparing fabrication-ready drawings that include tolerances, GD&T, and material specifications. Your role will also involve designing solid and flexible plumbing systems and creating detailed drawings with GD&T. Key Responsibilities: - Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo 10.0 for engine components, sheet metal parts, plumbing systems, and genset assemblies. - Develop accurate design and drafting outputs aligned with project specifications and industry standards. - Prepare fabrication-ready drawings, including tolerances, GD&T, and material specifications. - Design solid and flexible plumbing systems and create detailed drawings with GD&T. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. - Perform design modifications and updates based on feedback and engineering changes. - Maintain design documentation in Windchill and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or allied branches. - 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Design & Drafting within the domains of engine components, sheet metal, plumbing, and genset systems. - Strong proficiency in Creo 10.0 for modelling, assembly, and drafting. - Hands-on experience with Windchill for design data management. - Expertise in sheet metal model creation and fabrication-ready designs. - Good understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis. - Ability to interpret technical specifications and convert them into accurate designs. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in design environments. - Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.
