Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Professor in Microbiology to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiological research and education, with a commitment to teaching and mentoring students. Responsibilities Teach and guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in microbiology. Conduct research in the field of microbiology and publish findings in reputable journals. Supervise student projects and thesis work. Participate in departmental and university committees and contribute to academic governance. Engage in curriculum development and review to ensure up-to-date content delivery. Provide mentorship and academic support to students. Skills and Qualifications MD or DNB in Microbiology or equivalent qualification. 4-7 years of teaching experience in a recognized institution. Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory practices. Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to a positive academic environment. Demonstrated ability to publish research in peer-reviewed journals. Experience in guiding student research projects and theses.
