Design and plan the technical implementation of the projectFollow SAP ASAP Methodology for the implementationsDefine detailed blueprint for development requirementsIT Process implementation across all related IT componentsIT components specific expert consultingSupport of operating systemSupport for system optimizationHep in Pre Sales, RFP, Solution Design, Migration, Upgrade methodologyExecute workshops at customersDemonstrates strong problem solving abilitiesDevelops value based business cases for customersPosts own information to share lessons learned and new tips and informationLearn all new techniques required in the project, Oversee the performance of consultants, mentoring them, building up their skill and moulding juniorsKeep up to date on the technology developmentUnderstands and ensures that quality standards are metApplies methods and KM tools appropriate to specific needs of the projectIdentifies opportunities for continuous improvement of materials and deliveryTo ensure regular review points or meetings are held with the customer and all the internal stakeholders are appraisedTo ensure that issues are escalated to appropriate people in a timely manner and agree on plans for corrective actions along with Delivery Manager and SBU HeadTo analyse our current unmet business demand and highlight the same to the management with reasons and corrective plansAdhere to all the standards and procedures set by the companys quality system and the project plan
Responsibilities
Additional ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop processes for knowledge management with regards to project informationEnsure that the Project is closed properly to the satisfaction of the customer as per our set procedure along with the Project ManagerEnsure that project learning is replicated across various projects within the organizationProvide inputs during proposal makingEnsure timely timesheet filling for self and team members
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEShould have minimum of 8 to 9 years hands on experience as SAP Basis Administrator with experience in at least 2 to 3 full life cycle implementation projects as Senior Basis ConsultantShould be SAP BASIS Certified on any productShould have minimum of 6 years of proven experience in Technical System Administration with demonstrated experience in Database and or Operating system administration and AMS Support experience in handling customers, consultants as leadShould have worked on various RDBMS software s on SAP like Oracle, MaxDB, MS SQL HANA etc.Should have Experience on High Availability or Cluster, Disaster recovery implementations
Technical Skills
Should have worked on SAP NW products like EP, PI, MDM and BI and SAP Business Suite productsMust have handled the tasks like Installation, Kernel update, support package application, enhancement package installation, database backup, restore, reorganizationShould be well versed with Java administration and trouble shootingStrong knowledge of Operating Systems and cluster implementationsShould possess strong knowledge of Solution ManagerTeam handling experience during implementation AND Support engagementsMust have been in customer engagement roleThorough knowledge of estimation process and methodologySound knowledge of proposal and contract documentsKnowledge of Project Management toolsSound knowledge of KM systems and their business value
