What are the Key Deliverables in this rolePurchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and ensure good communications Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements Work collaboratively and negotiate and engage with stakeholders and suppliers regarding new projects, supplies and initiatives and advise of impact of change on purchasing and production activities Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and sourcing best practice tools and methods Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers Ensuring timely accounting of invoice and goods recipe note also should keen to follow for vendor payments Coordinate with planning team to arrive monthly requirement of RM PM and ensure 100% compliance on receipt What are the Critical success factors for the RoleHolds a Post Graduation, 6-8 Yrs of experience in sourcing /SCM Proficiency in Excel, Power Point word Knowledge of SAP preferred Good communication negotiation skills Should have decent vendor management skills Should have knowledge in maintaining price masters Should have proven experience in handling Spices and Pulses What are the Desirable success factors for the RoleWe are looking for a qualified sourcing professional to support the Supply Chain function for the foods business Should have Knowledge in sourcing process Agri commodity You will work closely with factory operations supply function and ensures right time RM/PM reaches the factory Should have hands on experience on SAP, Purchase registers, stock maintenance, Vendor Management Transportation
