Job Description

Software Defined Access (SDA) Job Description

Job role,

Candidate will be expected to analyze the traditional LAN implementation.
Candidate will need to collate and document customer requirements for SDA solution.
Candidate will need to work on High Level Design for SDA solution including Bill Of Materials, topologies, features, etc
Candidate will need to work on Low Level Design for SDA solution including rack design, cable matrix, IP addressing, etc
Candidate will need to execute solution deployment, fault troubleshooting, etc
Candidate will be expected to support operations team for Root Cause Analysis, P1 troubleshooting, etc

Required skills & knowledge,

Good knowledge and experience in LAN technologies including VLANs, STP, 802. 1x, Switch stacking, VSS, etc
Good knowledge in routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ISIS.
Good knowledge and concepts on SDN.
Good knowledge on Cisco SDA solution including Catalyst 9k, PxGrid, LISP, DNAC, etc
Exposure to Cisco ISE and WiFi.
Exposure to APIs and API based integrations.
Exposure to Automation and Analytics.
Exposure to multicast, IPv6, etc
Exposure to network management tools & platforms.
