Associate I SQA Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining the OSTTRA Technology team as an Associate I SQA Engineer - Hybrid, working with Capital Markets Technology professionals who build, support, and protect applications operating the network. The scope includes high-performance, high-volume applications and compute-intensive applications utilizing contemporary microservices and cloud-based architectures. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring the efficient settlement of trades and effective operation of global capital markets. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with the product team to grasp requirements from a business perspective - Liaise with the Product and QA teams to ensure the implementation of specifications in Gherkin format for easier integration with BDD automation framework - Develop and maintain automated feature scripts using Java, Cucumber/Gherkin - Execute and review test cases, report defects using Elastic Search - Engage in extensive coordination with product and Dev teams for requirement gaps and functional issue resolution - Coordinate with the Performance test team by providing necessary functional details - Possess a strong desire to be a functional tester with technical capabilities to maintain tests (This role is not entirely technical) Qualifications Required: - Understanding and hands-on experience in the Investment Banking Domain - Good knowledge of Financial Products - Familiarity with FPML schema designing, XML messaging/MQs, and supporting BA functions - Understanding of Trade Lifecycle & Workflow - Proficiency in Java programming - Testing Certifications: ISTQB - Domain Certifications: NCFM, CFA Foundation Company Details: OSTTRA is a market leader in derivatives post-trade processing, offering innovative solutions to address the post-trade challenges of global financial markets.
