Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and ServiceNow's Flow Designer. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions that streamline business processes, enhance efficiency, and improve user experience across the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities, particularly in low-code/no-code automation, integration, and the strategic application of RPA to solve complex business challenges.Key Responsibilities: ServiceNow Development & Configuration: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITOM), and workflows using best practices. Implement and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, and other core ServiceNow development components. Create and manage Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and Virtual Agent topics to improve user self-service. Develop and configure Service Portals, including custom widgets and pages, to provide intuitive user interfaces. Ensure system compliance with platform governance and code quality standards. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Implementation: Identify opportunities for RPA implementation within existing and new ServiceNow workflows to automate repetitive, rule-based tasks. Design, develop, and deploy robotic processes using ServiceNow's RPA Hub and Desktop Design Studio. Integrate RPA bots with ServiceNow flows and other systems to create end-to-end automated solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize RPA bot performance and reliability. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for RPA opportunities and translate them into technical solutions. Flow Designer & Workflow Automation: Expertly leverage ServiceNow Flow Designer to create, manage, and optimize complex automated workflows and subflows. Utilize Flow Designer actions, spokes (including Integration Hub), and custom actions to integrate ServiceNow with external systems and automate business processes. Design and implement conditional logic, approvals, notifications, and record updates within flows. Optimize existing workflows for efficiency, scalability, and user experience. Debug and troubleshoot issues related to flows and subflows, ensuring minimal disruption. Integration & Data Management: Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and other integration technologies. Work with data models, CMDB relationships, and data imports to ensure data integrity and consistency. Automate data ingestion, event correlation, and data synchronization processes. Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, solution architects, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and post-implementation support. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards. Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
