Associate General Manager - Finance

As an Associate General Manager based in Chennai, your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with the Allison PPE policy as well as US & Indian GaaP requirements. You will be tasked with tracking Capex spending and reporting, as well as overseeing and managing fixed assets. This will involve periodic physical verification of assets, tracking asset movements, and disposal activities. In addition, you will play a role in general accounting activities and provide support during various audit processes. Key Performance Measures for this role include understanding and implementing the PPE Policy and Accounting Standards, ensuring proper classification of Capex expenditures, and tracking Capex spending and reporting in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will also be responsible for asset capitalization, asset management, and general accounting matters such as supporting monthly close activities and GL account reconciliation. To excel in this role, you should have a background in accounting or costing, with a minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Proficiency in SAP FICO module and MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
