Associate Director DDIT ISC CSOC Engineering

As a CSOC Engineer Lead at Novartis, you will play a crucial role in the Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) by actively defending against cyber threats and attacks. Your responsibilities will include leveraging tools to detect, investigate, and mitigate threats to Novartis" networks, systems, users, and applications effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, implement, and manage dataflow pipelines, integrating them with SIEM platforms like Sentinel and Splunk. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and Product/Platform engineers to integrate various datasources. - Work closely with CSOC stakeholders such as TDR, THR, Forensic, Content Development, and SOAR teams to resolve data onboarding requests and issues with detection rules on security tools efficiently. Qualifications Required: - University working and thinking level, degree in business/technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience. - Professional information security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 auditor/practitioner). - Advanced training/certification on Security tools like Splunk, Sentinel, XDR, DLP. - 8+ years of work experience with strong managing skills and good general security knowledge. - Experience in scripting and Automation for Security tools and reporting to senior management on incident response topics. - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey information risk-related and incident response concepts effectively.
