Associate (Data Science)

As a Data Operations and Analytics Professional at Bain & Company, you will be an integral part of the Commercial Excellence, Coro CoE team within BCN (Bain Capability Network). Your role will focus on leveraging advanced analytics, data operations, and visualization tools to drive sustainable, organic growth in the B2B domain through data-driven solutions. With a work experience range of 2-5 years for undergraduate studies and 0-3 years for postgraduate studies, you will have hands-on experience in data operations, analytics, machine learning, or consulting. Proficiency in Python is required, while experience with Alteryx, SPSS, Tableau, and SQL is preferred. Your strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills will be key assets as you work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment to deliver actionable insights. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of consulting, data analytics, and commercial strategy, contributing to high-impact projects that drive business growth. You will collaborate with case teams across geographies and industries, focusing exclusively on Commercial Excellence projects and independently manage workstreams within broader consulting engagements. Your responsibilities will include leveraging ETL techniques, visualization tools such as Tableau, and tools like Alteryx and Python to deliver insights in a productized delivery model. You will work under the guidance of a Project Leader or Manager, lead and mentor Analysts, collaborate with internal teams on data operations, analytics, and product development, and facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge-sharing on technical best practices.
