Associate Consultant / Senior Associate Consultant - ICU (Critical Care Medicine)

As a Medical Staff member at our institute in Mumbai, you will be expected to demonstrate a professional approach towards all patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing medical cover, both routine and emergency, during your designated hours of duty and collaborating with other specialties within the institute - Performing procedures such as Central line insertion, IV Channelization, Intubation, and operating instruments like Ventilator - Following all clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols diligently, including wearing appropriate protective gear and maintaining hand hygiene - Monitoring patients as needed and promptly reporting any complex health problems to the relevant doctor - Supervising the daily clinical management of patients under the guidance of Consultants and prescribing pain management medicines when necessary - Communicating effectively with patients, their families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals - Ensuring that treatment sheets are accurately completed with the diagnosis in capital letters, dated, named, and signed by the responsible doctor - Assisting Consultants during rounds, taking independent rounds, and following up on patients for further care as needed - Accompanying Consultants for rounds, taking necessary notes, and preparing discharge summaries - Assessing new patients upon admission and adhering to on-call and duty rota as per departmental requirements Your qualifications should include MBBS, MD/DNB/FNB in Critical Care, and you should ideally have 0-5 years of work experience.
