Job Description

As an experienced candidate with strong hands-on experience in managing Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing a large-scale Citrix environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Administering and maintaining Citrix Virtual Desktops supporting a large user base (2,000-3,000 desktops). - Ensuring high availability and optimal performance of the Citrix VDI environment with minimal downtime. - Overseeing version control, software updates, and patch management across Citrix systems. - Managing and maintaining multiple desktop images (approximately five), covering both persistent and non-persistent setups. - Troubleshooting and resolving Citrix-related incidents and service tickets efficiently. - Conducting testing, validation, and rollout of Citrix updates, upgrades, and security patches. - Implementing and managing security updates to maintain compliance and system integrity. - Collaborating with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure consistent performance and reliability. Additionally, exposure to NetScaler, FAS, Azure, and Entra ID environments would be considered a plus. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) administration. - Strong knowledge of persistent and non-persistent Citrix desktop configurations. - Proficiency in version control, testing, and upgrade management within Citrix environments. - Experience in Windows image management, including creating, updating, and deploying desktop images. - Solid understanding of Citrix troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution. - Experience implementing security updates and patch management for Citrix systems. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Your skills in Citrix and VDI will be essential in successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.,
