Job Description

Position Summary
To be a driven business analyst who can work on complex Analytical problems and help the customer in better business decision making especially in the area of pharma/life sciences (domain). Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and optimize modular and reusable DBT models (staging, intermediate, and mart layers).

Maintain and manage DBT documentation , tests, version control practices (using Git).

Implement data transformation pipelines using DBT, SQL , and integrate with cloud data warehouses like Redshift , or Snowflake.

Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand data needs and define transformation logic.

Establish and enforce data quality checks, tests, and validations within DBT.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues.

Stay up to date with best practices in the DBT ecosystem and process improvements.

Hands on with DBT packages i.e. utils, great_expectation, utils etc

Working experience of Elementary UI

Education
BE/B.TechMaster of Computer Application Work Experience
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

5–6 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles with at least 2+ years of experience in DBT.

Expert-level proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of data modeling concepts (Star/Snowflake schema).

Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.

Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines for DBT.

Familiarity with Airflow or other orchestration tools is a plus.

Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
