Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Design Architect secure network and cloud solutions incorporating Palo Alto, Fortinet, and F5 technologies. Develop network segmentation, zero-trust architectures, and multi-layer security for Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments. Create detailed HLDs (High-Level Designs) and LLDs (Low-Level Designs) for security and network deployments. 2. Implementation & Troubleshooting Deploy, configure, and optimize Palo Alto NGFW, FortiGate firewalls, and F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM). Implement secure cloud connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN, Direct Connect) with integrated firewall and ADC solutions. Perform advanced troubleshooting for network security, SSL offloading, load balancing, and application delivery issues. Conduct failover, redundancy, and performance tuning for high availability and disaster recovery scenarios. 3. Governance & Compliance Align deployments with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR standards. Maintain security baselines, device hardening standards, and change control processes. Conduct security posture reviews and recommend continuous improvements. 4. Collaboration & Advisory Act as a technical SME for firewall, ADC, and cloud security designs. Support pre-sales with solution proposals, BoMs, and technical presentations. Work closely with network, cloud, and security teams for seamless solution delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Expert in Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Panorama, GlobalProtect). Expert in Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPN). Expert in F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM, iRules). Strong knowledge of Azure & AWS networking and security services (VNet, VPC, Private Link, Transit Gateway, WAF). Proficient in security monitoring tools (Microsoft Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, IDS/IPS). Skilled in implementation, migration, and troubleshooting in large-scale enterprise environments. Certifications (Preferred) Vendor certifications: PCNSE (Palo Alto), NSE4/5/7 (Fortinet), F5-CTS or F5-CA. Cloud certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Associate. Security certifications: CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty. Experience 8–12 years in network security, including hands-on firewall & ADC deployments. 8+ years architecting secure cloud environments in Azure and/or AWS. Soft Skills Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Strong documentation and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure in mission-critical environments.
