Job Title: Assistant Manager- Purchase

Division/Company/Entity: ASSA ABLOY

Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat

Department: Purchase.

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

looking for an Assistant Manager Purchase for manufacturing plant at Jamnagar. This person shall be based out of Jamnagar. He/ She will be responsible to procurement, job work, Negotiation and manage strategic relationships with Supplier and Job worker.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To Implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Continuous working on price reduction.
• Ensure timely procurement of material.
• Ensure the controls over the purchasing budgets.
• New vendor development & to do vendor consolidation as Assa Abloy SOP.
• Relationship management with the existing vendors
• To coordinate with store and ensure that inventory targets are met.
• Accurate & timely reporting to the management
• Supervising & motivating the team members
• Reviewing the performance of sub-ordinates & provide them the required guidance.

Skills Required

• SAP & Advance Excel knowledge must.
• Good Communication skills in English& Hindi, Gujrati Must
• Basic knowledge of metal prices and market trend
• Basic knowledge on manufacturing processes

Education Qualification & Experience required.

• Bachelors Degree
• 6 To 10 years of experience in manufacturing set up.
