Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Manage outpatient, inpatient, and emergency cases in obstetrics and gynaecology. Conduct normal and assisted deliveries; assist and perform caesarean sections. Provide antenatal and postnatal care, including management of high-risk pregnancies. Handle gynaecological procedures such as D&C, IUCD insertions, endometrial biopsy, etc. Participate in emergency management like PPH, eclampsia, and ectopic pregnancies. Maintain proper documentation, case notes, and discharge summaries. Participate in academic activities like case presentations, seminars, and CMEs. Collaborate with consultants and junior doctors for patient care and rounds.
