Assistant/Associate Manager Graphic Design

As the Assistant/Associate Design Manager for the Nykaa Web Com team, your role will involve overseeing the design aspects of the Nykaa Fashion e-commerce platform to ensure a seamless, engaging, and user-friendly shopping experience. You will be responsible for managing a team of designers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards of visual and interaction design. - Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, graphic designers, and other design professionals. - Foster a creative and collaborative work environment. - Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and provide constructive feedback. - Develop and implement design strategies aligned with the overall business objectives. - Ensure the design team produces high-quality, on-brand design solutions. - Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups. - Work closely with product managers, developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design meets user needs and business goals. - Present design concepts and solutions to senior management and other stakeholders. - Ensure clear communication and documentation of design decisions and guidelines. - Ensure the user experience is intuitive, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing across all digital touchpoints. - Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine and improve designs. - Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices. - Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines. - Allocate resources effectively and monitor the progress of design projects. - Resolve any issues that may arise during the design process. - Ensure all design output is consistent with Nykaa's brand guidelines and quality standards. - Conduct regular design reviews and audits. - Maintain design documentation and assets for future reference and use. Qualification Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. - 6+ years of experience in design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. - Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in web and mobile design. - Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and prototyping tools like InVision or Marvel. - Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and practices. - Strong project management and organizational skills. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience in the Beauty/fashion e-commerce industry.,
