Assistant Video Editor

As a Junior Video Editor at our production house, you will have the opportunity to work on creating and editing rough drafts for Television Commercials (TVCs), Corporate Films, Online Ads, and uplifting Instagram reels. Your role will involve collaborating with creative teams, employing storytelling skills, and implementing video editing principles to ensure the effectiveness of the visual content. Additionally, you will have the chance to expand your knowledge in motion graphics and animation to meet industry demands for fully packaged videos. - Draft and edit video content for TVCs, Corporate Films, Online Ads, and Instagram reels. - Manage video editing tasks from inception through post-production. - Collaborate with creative teams to understand project scope and objectives. - Employ storytelling skills for continuity and coherence in videos. - Implement video editing principles to maximize visual effectiveness. - Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphic, and animation elements. - Incorporate a creative mindset and fresh ideas for video editing. - Stay updated with industry trends in video editing, motion graphics, and animation. Qualifications and Skills: - 1-2 years of experience in video editing. - Understanding of motion graphics, with a willingness to learn more. - Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro. - Adequate knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. - Strong understanding of timing and visual awareness. - Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills. - Adaptable and able to work under tight deadlines.
