Role Overview: As an Assistant Editor at MS Productions, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior editors by ensuring that all media assets are well-prepared, organized, and easily accessible. Your primary focus will be on working with Adobe Premier Pro, requiring an intermediate level of proficiency with the software. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and organize various media assets such as footage, audio, and graphics efficiently. - Import, transcode, and synchronize media within Adobe Premier Pro. - Create and maintain project bins, ensuring proper labeling and sorting of all files. - Prepare and deliver rough cuts and media for review by the editing team. - Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to Premier projects and media. - Assist editors with tasks like logging, pulling selects, and other organizational activities. - Maintain project files and backups according to established workflow standards. Qualifications: - Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Premier Pro. - Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. - Knowledge of post-production workflows and best practices in media management. - A genuine passion for film, television, and storytelling. - Previous experience as an assistant editor or in a similar post-production role would be advantageous.
