Assistant Site In charge

As a professional at Give Me Trees Trust, you will be part of a significant community-driven initiative dedicated to tree planting and conservation efforts in India. Over the last 45 years, the organization has successfully planted and preserved more than 23 million trees nationwide, with the support of a team of 17,000+ dedicated volunteers. Now, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with relevant experience to join our team. Your responsibilities will include conducting site visits, providing nature education, organizing nature walks and workshops, and engaging in activities such as identifying, recording, and monitoring plant species. You will also be involved in conducting surveys, studying plant populations across different locations, preparing layouts as per project requirements, and reporting to the manager while working under their guidance. Additionally, you will be responsible for biodiversity and wildlife assessment at project sites, conducting field research, designing and executing surveys, analyzing data, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or Botany, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in fields such as Horticulture, Botany, Zoology, Wildlife, or Environmental Science. Experience in a similar role within a reputable NGO would be advantageous, although freshers are also encouraged to apply. Essential requirements for this role include possessing a smartphone and a willingness to travel to project locations. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, with a day shift schedule.
