Assistant / Senior Assistant - Financial Due Diligence

You will be part of the Financial Due Diligence department at BDO India, based in Mumbai Lower Parel. As an Assistant / Senior Assistant reporting to a Manager or Associate Director, your role will involve verifying records, conducting meetings with key persons, analyzing data, and providing insights for transaction structuring. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collecting and organizing financial statements, management reports, and supporting documentation for due diligence engagements. - Managing, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from multiple sources. - Analyzing data using Excel functions, pivot tables, and charts. - Assisting in preliminary financial analysis and resolving data inconsistencies. - Supporting the preparation of due diligence deliverables such as data summaries and draft report sections. - Coordinating with internal teams and clients to obtain necessary information. - Assisting in preparing presentations, client meeting materials, and proposals. - Contributing to a collaborative team environment with attention to detail and proactive support. To excel in this role, you should have strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and data cleaning), and the ability to work effectively in a team. Additionally, you should be able to adapt quickly to new tools and processes.
