As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Kerala Cafe, a renowned multi-chain restaurant group with a presence in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Kochi, known for its authentic Kerala cuisine, your role will be crucial in providing a delightful dining experience with a focus on traditional flavors and warm hospitality. You will oversee the operations of one of our outlets in Chembur, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food quality, and leading a team of dedicated staff members. Your responsibilities will include leading both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, handling team conflicts, streamlining operations, hiring and on-boarding new employees, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing inventory and finance, and enforcing safety protocol. Desired skills for this role include the ability to resolve conflicts calmly, experience working with a bookkeeper, leadership and customer service skills, previous hiring experience, front-of-house experience (a plus), negotiating contracts with vendors, working well under pressure, excellent communication skills, and presenting innovative ideas to the company management.
