Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site MEPF installation activities for interior fitout projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Interpret and implement MEP drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with other trades, subcontractors, and project team members to ensure seamless integration of MEPF systems with architectural and structural elements
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks on MEPF installations
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEPF systems, proposing solutions to the project manager as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards for MEPF installations
• Monitor and report on the progress of MEPF works, preparing detailed technical reports
• Assist in the preparation and updating of MEPF-related project schedules
• Manage material and equipment requisitions for MEPF systems, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage
• Participate in testing and commissioning of MEPF systems, ensuring they meet performance requirements
• Collaborate with the project manager in handling RFIs, submittals, and change orders related to MEPF works
• Mentor junior MEPF team members, providing technical guidance and support

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in MEPF site engineering for interior fitout projects
• Strong knowledge of MEPF systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Solid understanding of building automation systems and smart building technologies
• Experience with energy-efficient design and sustainable MEP practices
• Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards (e g, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions on-site
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse project stakeholders
• Proficiency in using MEP-specific software tools and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling)
