Job Title: Assistant Project Coordinator Department: Projects Company: Teknix Elevators Pvt Ltd Job Purpose: To assist the Project Coordinator in planning, executing, and closing elevator installation and modernization projects while ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Project Support: Assist in coordinating and tracking project activities from initiation to completion. Support the Project Coordinator in preparing project documentation, schedules, and reports. Follow up with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and equipment. Site Coordination: Coordinate with site engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of installation work. Visit sites for supervision, status updates, and issue resolution under guidance. Communication & Documentation: Maintain and update project-related documentation including site reports, checklists, and project plans. Communicate project status to all stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Client Coordination: Support the Project Coordinator in client communication for approvals, updates, and issue resolution. Assist in managing customer expectations and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all project activities follow company standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements. Report non-compliance or risks to the Project Coordinator promptly. Administrative Support: Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams for material availability and site delivery. Assist in preparing handover documents and ensuring proper project closure. Key Skills & Competencies: Basic understanding of project management principles Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project) Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines Knowledge of elevator industry practices (preferred) Qualifications & Experience: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering fields 0–1 years of experience in project coordination or site support (experience in the elevator industry is an advantage) Career Path: Successful candidates can progress to Project Coordinator, Senior Project Engineer, or Project Manager roles with experience and performance.
