As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for teaching Music at a reputed University in India. Your role will require you to meet the following qualifications and responsibilities: **Role Overview:** You should have a good academic record with at least 60% marks at the Master's degree level in Music or an equivalent degree from an Indian University. Additionally, you must hold a Ph.D. Degree in Music from a reputed University in India. It is essential that you have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or a similar accredited test like SLET/SET. Exemptions are applicable for subjects where NET Exam is not conducted. Moreover, you should have undergone certified training under a Guru for a minimum of 5-8 years and have a strong background in stage performances. **Key Responsibilities:** - Teach Music courses to students at the University level - Design new courses and curriculum related to Music - Participate in Seminars and Conferences at reputed institutions - Ability to explain logical reasoning of the subject and teach theory with illustrations **Qualifications Required:** - Master's degree in Music with at least 60% marks - Ph.D. Degree in Music from a reputed University in India - Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers - Certified training under a Guru for 5-8 years - Experience in stage performances In addition to the above qualifications and responsibilities, if you are a traditional and professional artist with commendable achievements in Music, you should have studied under noted traditional Masters/Artists, be an "A" Grade artist of AIR/Doordarshan, and possess experience in designing new courses and/or curriculum.
