Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities: The candidates selected are to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses of computer sciences or similar branches, to supervise UG/PG/PhD students in their projects/ thesis both in lab and as co-curricular activity, as well as participate in building linkages and driving cooperation with industry.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Domain expertise PhD in Computer Science/IT Domain with Strong Emphasis on Data Science and Big Data Analytics, AI, Machine and Deep Learning Techniques

Minimum experience / Industrial experience Candidates having 1-2 Years of Academic or Industry Experience in the Data Science domain is desirable. Must have PhD in Computer Science and IT Related Domain. PhD Submitted stage is also acceptable

Key skills Knowledge about Data Analytics Tools, Sound Knowledge of Python and R Programming.

• Domain expertise Data Science & Machine Learning, Big Data, Cyber Security, Edge/Fog Computing & Computer Vision, Cloud Computing

Minimum experience / Industrial experience 5 years teaching / 2 years Industry in relevant domain.

Key skills Programming Java, Python, C/C++; Web development/ Mobile App development; Big data analytic Hadoop, Hive, Pig, HBase, Cassandra; Cybersecurity Certification in relevant domain, Augmented reality - UX design, mobile programming, and 3D modeling

• Domain expertise Internet of Things(IoT),Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, DevOps, Human Computer Interaction(HCI), Software Defined Networks, Computational Intelligence and Algorithms.

Minimum experience / Industrial experience 2 years teaching/ industry in relevant domain.

Key skills Expert in Programming skills. Hands on experience in IoT, ML, and Data Analytical tools.

Hands on experience in Web Development and Database.

• Candidates with Ph.D. will be given preference.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Candidates with Doctorate Degree in relevant specialization shall be preferred.
• As per the norms defined by UGC

Essential Functions

• Academics: The candidate must strive to prepare himself/herself academically to meet the challenges and requirements in the modern methodology of teaching so that the input may be useful for the students community at large and for this he must have or acquire good pedagogical skills.
• The candidate should have strong inclination towards research to ensure quality publications and enable him to offer needed research guidance for PG and Doctorate students
• He must strive to get sponsor projects from various funding agencies of the governmental or industry
