Assistant Professor in Data Science

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified Assistant Professor in Data Science with expertise in Data Analytics (DA) software to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong research background, teaching experience, and proficiency in industry-relevant tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, and other analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.
• Develop and deliver curriculum incorporating DA tools and technologies.
• Conduct high-impact research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Mentor students in research, projects, and career development.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary research and industry partnerships.
• Contribute to department growth and academic administration.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong publication record and research agenda in Data Science/Analytics.
• Experience in teaching or training in Data Science & DA software.
• Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and Data Visualization tools is preferred.
• Ability to secure research funding and engage in collaborative projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
• Knowledge of AI, Deep Learning, and Business Analytics.
• Strong industry connections and project-based teaching experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
