Assistant Professor – English

Position Title: Assistant Professor – (English, Mathematics)
Department: English,Mathematics
Reports To: Head of the Department / Principal

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in English language, literature, and related subjects as per university curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments
• Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and presentations
• Engage in curriculum development and academic planning
• Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and academic activities
• Guide and mentor students in academic and co-curricular pursuits
• Contribute to research, publications, and professional development
• Participate in institutional responsibilities such as admissions, examinations, and committees

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in English, Mathematics with a good academic record
• NET/SET/Ph.D. as per UGC or affiliating university norms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of core and applied mathematics
