Assistant Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Production Supervisor to support our Production Manager in overseeing daily operations across the garment manufacturing process (from cutting to dispatch). The role involves managing the production team, ensuring programs assigned by the Production Manager are executed as planned, monitoring delays, coordinating with seniors to resolve issues, and aligning the team towards smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Execution & Monitoring
• Implement production schedules provided by the Production Manager.
• Track progress across each stage (cutting, stitching, finishing, packing, dispatch).
• Identify bottlenecks or delays and report them promptly.
• Team Management
• Supervise and coordinate the production team to meet daily/weekly targets.
• Ensure proper alignment of manpower and workflow.
• Motivate and maintain discipline within the team.
• Problem Solving & Coordination
• Discuss production delays/issues with the Production Manager and work on solutions.
• Ensure corrective actions are carried out effectively.
• Liaise with different departments (quality, stores, dispatch) to maintain smooth operations.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain daily production reports and update the Production Manager.
• Highlight variances in production and manpower utilization.
• Ensure all production data is recorded accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
