Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Principal / Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Mumbai, Bangalore, Noida, Ahmedabad, and other locations. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the water sector, with expertise in process design of Water Treatment Plants and water systems.

Roles and Responsibility

Undertake process design of Water Treatment Plants and water systems.
Produce technical deliverables including technical schedules and data sheets.
Perform engineering calculations such as hydraulic, pump, and mass balance calculations.
Prepare specifications for engineering subcontracts.
Collaborate with the supply chain and analyze technical bids from suppliers.
Oversee key outputs like process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calculations, capacity calculations, data sheets, and technical bid analysis of third-party process equipment.
Communicate effectively at all relevant levels to ensure delivery of technical excellence is understood and implemented.
Escalate issues impacting time, cost, or quality before they become problems or exceed agreed timelines.
Support the drive towards excellence in H&S, demonstrating applied knowledge and skills to produce safe designs and manage close links with other Engineering teams to ensure smooth interfaces between disciplines, managing gaps/overlaps and sharing best practices.

Job Requirements

Degree in Chemical / Environmental Engineering from an accredited university.
Relevant experience in a consultancy organization for the Water Sector.
Exposure to international projects.
Ability to work independently with lead office as part of an integrated team.
Possess good written and oral communication skills.
Be self-motivated with a keen interest in learning new skills and adding value to the team/organization.
