The reporting manager for this position is the Director. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax and hold a CA qualification. As an Assistant Manager in Direct Tax, your responsibilities will include assisting in computing monthly withholding tax liability, preparing and filing quarterly withholding tax statements, and preparing lower withholding tax applications. You will also be involved in preparing and filing corporate income tax returns, providing direct tax advisory services, and offering representation and litigation support for income tax assessments and appeals. Additionally, you will be expected to have knowledge of Double Taxation Avoidance Treaty and advise on withholding tax applicability. In this role, you will be responsible for networking and identifying opportunities for existing clients, as well as managing client relationships effectively. You will need to demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, creative and innovative thinking, and a deep understanding of technical tax matters.
