Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Leadership & Management

Team Supervision:
Lead, train, and manage tool room staff (machinists, programmers, technicians).
Production Planning:
Collaborate with BDM (Business Development Manager) & Production for scheduling, prioritizing jobs, and meeting targets.
** ERP/SAP:** Utilize SAP for material planning, tracking, and inventory management of tool room supplies.
** Cost Control:** Implement practices for cost reduction without compromising quality.

Technical & Design

AutoCAD/Design:
Oversee design of extrusion dies, ensuring complex geometry and tolerance adherence.
Die Manufacturing:
Manage production using Wire Cut, VMC (Vertical Machining Center), and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining).
CAM/Programming:
Ensure accurate CNC programming for wire cut & VMC operations.
Quality Control:
Ensure all manufactured tools meet stringent quality standards for extrusion profiles.

** Extrusion Specifics**

Aluminium Extrusion

Focus:
Deep understanding of extrusion die design principles, metallurgy, and profile characteristics.
Die Maintenance:
Manage preventive maintenance for dies to maximize lifespan and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

Specific experience in the Aluminium Extrusion Industry is crucial
.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, CNC Programming, Wire Cut, VMC, EDM.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Proven leadership and team management
