Assistant Manager - Testing - SQL & ETL

The role of Assistant Manager - Testing involves working in a team to ensure the integrity and efficiency of Treasury and regulatory applications in the financial sector. With 8-10 years of experience, you will be responsible for various testing activities to support banking and financial services projects. The location for this role is Gurugram with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Your primary responsibilities will include demonstrating strong expertise in SQL, ETL Testing, and End-to-End Testing. You will be expected to have an excellent understanding of STLC, including test case creation, execution, and defect management. Additionally, experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain will be beneficial. Knowledge in liquidity/capital management, balance sheet, and liquidity frameworks, as well as a background in Regulatory or Treasury-related testing projects, are preferred. Your tasks will involve participating in end-to-end testing of Treasury and regulatory applications, reviewing specifications to define test requirements, creating and maintaining test scenarios, and ensuring traceability to business requirements. Data validation and reconciliation using SQL queries for backend/ETL testing will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams for test planning, execution, and issue resolution, as well as identifying defects and providing detailed root cause analysis. Supporting transformation initiatives across Treasury with a focus on continuous improvement will also be expected from you.
