The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and strategic planning to maximize productivity and profitability. Production Management: Oversee the entire mining production process, from extraction to processing and transportation. Develop and implement production plans to meet output targets and quality standards. Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to optimize efficiency. Ensure optimal utilization of equipment, manpower, and resources. Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement and oversee workplace safety procedures and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal mining laws and regulations. Conduct regular safety drills and training programs for staff. Team Leadership & Management :Supervise and manage a team of mining engineers, supervisors, and workers. Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to improve skills and productivity. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Operational Efficiency & Cost Control :Monitor operational costs and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising safety or quality. Optimize resource allocation to minimize waste and downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize breakdowns. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, safety incidents, and operational challenges. Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment usage, and material consumption. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and performance goals.
