Job Description

Supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations across IPD, OPD, and emergency units ensuring timely drug dispensing and stock control.
Assist in procurement planning and vendor coordination for formulary and non-formulary items as per hospital demand.
Monitor inventory management through ABC/VED analysis, MinMax, and FIFO principles to avoid stockouts and expiries.
Ensure compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act, NABH standards, and internal pharmacy SOPs.
Verify prescriptions, billing accuracy, and documentation for controlled substances and high-value drugs.
Coordinate with Finance, Stores, and Clinical teams for reconciliation, billing, and consumption audits.
Support training and supervision of pharmacists and technicians, fostering adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Generate and analyze MIS reports on consumption trends, stock variance, and cost control.
Ensure temperature monitoring, storage standards, and segregation of near-expiry or recalled items.
Participate in internal audits, formulary reviews, and policy implementations under the guidance of the Pharmacy Head.
