Assistant Manager In NPD department.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible & Lead complete Engineering Activity.
• Responsible for complete plant Layout & Set up line as per Layout.
• Responsible for Weld & Assy Line & Prove out as per cycle time.
• BOM Creation & ECN implement at shop floor.
• Technical Feasibility study for new Project.
• Feasibility & Costing to be done for new Projects.
• Responsible for all tooling development from DAP to installation.
• Responsible for Proto development & design in-house Fixtures.
• Responsible for Cost savings from Engineering.
• Responsible for Nesting & Yield improvement in Metal-shop.
• Responsible person for Overall Plant tooling Gauge & Fixture maintenance.
• Responsible for Capex requirements for Plant.
• Responsible for Racks & Trolleys design & requirements.
• All APQP documentation readiness for new Projects.
• Cycle time study for Robotic & manual Fixtures.
• Responsible for all fixtures & tooling trial & buy-off at supplier end.
• Having good knowledge of manufacturing Operations of weld shop & Assembly line
• MIG Welding, Press Operations, Welding jig and fixture, Press Brakes & Laser Machine
• Preparation and Analysis of Month Wise supplier PPM and follow up with supplier for corrective

action.

• PPAP, PFD, PFMEA, & SOP work standards make for new developments.
• Developed new components like sheet metal & Bending Parts.
• Responsible for upgrading the parts accuracy by adhering panel checker and part layout inspection

reports.

• Technical drawings and inspection as per customer requirements.

Good knowledge of GD&T (as customers requirement).

Preferred candidate profile

• Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, Creo & Solid Works.
• Having Knowledge of SAP
