Assistant Manager - EHS - Sangareddy

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of warehouse operations.

• Identify and mitigate potential hazards (e.g., unsafe practices, chemical exposure, noise levels).
  
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations.
  
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  
• Maintain and update safety documentation, permits, and training records.
  
• Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for warehouse staff.
  
• Coordinate emergency response drills and first-aid readiness.
  
• Monitor and support daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
  
• Ensure safe handling and storage of materials, including hazardous substances.
  
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces.
  
• Assist in inventory audits and ensure proper labeling and segregation of goods.
  
• Operate and oversee use of material handling equipment (e.g., Reach trucks, BOPT, Conveyors) safely.
  Skills required

Should have exposure of warehouse safety
• Exposure of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 and any other standards would be an advantage.• Knowledge of environment regulation would be an added advantage.

Required Education Qualification
• B. Tech Fire & Safety from approved college with 2+ years of experience.• Or Science graduate with Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety with 3+ years of experience.

• Governance of Safety & Environmental Aspects
  
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  
• Monitor and manage EHS programs and initiatives within the facility.
  
• Regularly report EHS metrics and incidents to:
  
• The Central EHS Team
  
• The Facility Head
  
• Issue Resolution & Collaboration
  
• Identify and address EHS-related issues.
  
• Collaborate with 

  process partners

   (e.g., operations, maintenance, HR) to resolve concerns effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
